When the investigation became public, four individuals were charged in connection with an alleged firearm possession case that resulted in multiple felony weapon charges.
At the time, Joseph “Chevy” Buxton had secured his release after posting bail, while Tyreik “Woopie Balla” Williams and Derrick “DD Kash Money” Butler remained in custody. Elayzia “E Money Bagz” Muhammad also remained a defendant as her case moved through the court system.
Now, updated court records paint a very different picture.
Every remaining defendant is out of custody through separate legal outcomes, although the criminal prosecutions against Williams, Butler, and Buxton remain active.

Tyreik “Woopie Balla” Williams has officially posted bail and has been released from custody.
According to Richmond County Supreme Court records and the New York City Department of Correction inmate lookup, Williams pleaded not guilty before later securing his release after bail was posted. Department of Correction records reflect that he was released from custody on July 21, 2026.

✅ E Money Bagz Previously Cleared
Earlier this month, a Richmond County grand jury declined to indict Elayzia Muhammad.
As previously reported by The Gutter Report, the grand jury’s decision resulted in the charges against Muhammad being dismissed, leaving her no longer a defendant in the case.
