🔫 The Gutter Report: Grand Jury Clears Elayzia Muhammad As Chevy Makes Bail And Woopie Balla And DD Kash Money Remain Jailed

New court records and information obtained by LFTG Radio reveal that Elayzia Muhammad has been cleared by a Richmond County grand jury, Joseph “Chevy” Buxton has secured his release on bail, and Tyreik “Woopie Balla” Williams and Derrick “DD Kash Money” Butler remain incarcerated as new details emerge about the events that brought police to a Staten Island apartment

💸 Tyreik “Woopie Balla” Williams (left) and Derrick “DD Kash Money” Butler (right) previously posted images displaying large amounts of cash online. Yet both men remain incarcerated on Rikers Island with assigned counsel and relatively modest bail amounts — a reminder that social media often sells an image that real-life circumstances don’t always support.

⚖️ Major Developments In The Case

Staten Island, New York — Less than three weeks after four people were arrested following allegations that a loaded firearm had been tossed from a Staten Island apartment, court records and newly obtained information reviewed by LFTG Radio show that the case has taken several significant turns.

Richmond Supreme Criminal Court records show that Elayzia Muhammad, who was initially arrested alongside Tyreik “Woopie Balla” Williams, Derrick “DD Kash Money” Butler, and Joseph “Chevy” Buxton, has since been cleared by a Richmond County grand jury.

A Certificate of Disposition reviewed by LFTG Radio shows that on June 18, 2026, a grand jury returned a No True Bill on all charges against Muhammad, including criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. The matter was subsequently sealed pursuant to New York law.

Court records further show that Muhammad previously posted $7,500 cash on a $75,000 bond and was released from custody before the grand jury’s decision.

💔 The Relationship Angle

According to information provided to LFTG Radio, Muhammad and Butler were no longer in a romantic relationship at the time of the incident and had previously separated. Sources familiar with the matter say the two were attempting to rekindle their relationship and that Muhammad did not know Williams or Buxton.

Sources also tell LFTG Radio that Muhammad did not implicate any of the remaining defendants in order to secure her release or obtain the favorable grand jury outcome.

💵 Chevy Secures Release

Meanwhile, Joseph “Chevy” Buxton has also secured his release after posting bail on his $100,000 bond.

💵 Joseph “Chevy” Buxton appears in a social media post after securing his release on a $100,000 bond while his weapon possession case continues through Richmond County Supreme Court.

As of publication, Tyreik “Woopie Balla” Williams remains housed inside the George R. Vierno Center on Rikers Island on a $50,000 partially secured bond. Derrick “DD Kash Money” Butler remains housed inside the Eric M. Taylor Center on Rikers Island on a $15,000 partially secured bond.

Both men continue to face second-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges as the case proceeds through Richmond Supreme Criminal Court.

Williams is represented by assigned counsel Alexsis Tara Barravecchia, Esq., and is scheduled to return to court on August 5, 2026. Butler is represented by assigned counsel Andrea S. Ferrante, Esq., and is scheduled to return to court on July 1, 2026.

🚔 How Police Ended Up At The Apartment

LFTG Radio has also learned that the police response that night did not originate from a pre-planned raid.

According to information reviewed by LFTG Radio, officers initially responded to a call for service. Because Williams was reportedly on parole and listed at the residence, the encounter ultimately resulted in a parole search of the apartment.

The circumstances surrounding the initial police response have also become a subject of public discussion online.

LFTG Radio has confirmed that Joanna Rotondi publicly acknowledged contacting police before officers responded to the residence. Rotondi’s personal relationship with Butler has also been publicly known for years. However, the motivations behind the call and the events immediately preceding it have not been independently established by LFTG Radio.

📌 What Happens Next

The case now stands in a dramatically different position than when the arrests were first announced.

One defendant has been completely cleared by a grand jury.

Another has secured his release on bail.

Two defendants remain incarcerated on Rikers Island awaiting further proceedings.

And as the criminal case moves forward, questions continue to surround the chain of events that ultimately led police to the Staten Island apartment and the allegations that a firearm was tossed from the residence that night.

Not for clicks — for clarity.
